If you have to specify that you're doing something for "educational purposes" or it's older brother "research purposes", then chances are you shouldn't be doing it in the first place. The amount of educational malware, or research that violates rules and norms is surprisingly high. Almost as if it's simply a smokescreen meant to help a perpetrator get away with their transgressions.
