When I was that age I would not have had the balls to try to hide out in the open like this. I did win a game of hide and seek by hiding underneath a couch, but this little chameleon figured out how to blend in right in plain sight.

This is literally supposed to be a camouflaged photo, but there aren't many things that pattern is going to blend into.

Death defying stealth

I suppose most defensive stealth is attempting to avoid death, but usually it doesn't involve becoming temporarily dead in the process.

Similar to the old adage about only having to be faster than the guy next to you when trying to outrun a bear, but in this case it's the one that blends in better that has the advantage.

Camouflage is meant to protect one from being seen by an adversary, but sometimes protection can backfire.

So where is the delivery guy supposed to hide something that big? And frankly, if he did hide it, how would you know it arrived? Aaaand, unless your husband can't read, I'm pretty sure that door mat is going to tip him off to the need to look for hidden packages. This is no way to keep your packages secret from your hubby - get a post office box if you want that, or ask a trusted friend if you can have things delivered to their home instead of yours.

Putting your position on Google Earth/Maps kinda defeats the purpose of stealth, but I suppose it could deter people who care about there being some stranger lurking in the brush.

While stealth is certainly a desirable quality in an adversarial situation, actual invisibility has some logistical problems, like how to avoid running into the damn thing.
