The Hidden DANGERS of Peanut Butter

Watch on YouTube

I had no idea one of my favourite foods was so feared by airport security. Glad I've never had a run in with TSA while carrying peanut butter. I wonder if they would let me eat it before going on the plane.

The "All-In-One" Approach

from here and here (image source)

I think a lot of people would be willing if it meant they could get to their destination on time without missing any flights.

Can't be shy if you want to fly

from here and here

I hope you all don't mind biometric surveillance creeping slowly but steadily into your everyday lives, because it sounds like the creeps at the TSA have definitely settled on the creeping strategy.

They are humour impaired

from here and here

I'm surprised people still make this mistake, but you should absolutely not joke with the airport security about bombs or hijacking. You aren't going to like it when they put you in jail. I don't care how funny you think you are, or even how funny you actually are, they won't be laughing.

Glad we finally solved that problem

found on Reddit

This looks like it will be about as effective at stopping terrorists as the TSA is, and it'll cost a lot less money.

The most dangerous thing they ever caught

from here and here

They may have caught it but they didn't stop it. They don't stop much, after all.

Finally a good use for them

from here and here

The argument could be made that some members of congress essentially are terrorists, so maybe the TSA is actually fulfilling it's intended mission when it catches Madison Cawthorn with a gun.

It's Not Gay If It's TSA shirt

Product Page

We've seen a similar design before but I can't actually find that specific design anywhere. This one is pretty good too, though, and now you too can be an air-passenger hero by proudly wearing this shirt the next time you present your junk for inspection.

TSA finally catches a terrorist ... from Toon Town

found on Izismile

Pretty sure the person who made this is the same one who framed Roger Rabbit. Not that the TSA would be able to tell the difference.

Hall Of Infamy

found on eBaum's World

It appears that Bob the Builder and an entire culinary school went through there and I bet they were none too happy to have the tools of their respective trades confiscated.

Biometric humiliation

found on Imgur

It's not unbelievable that they would want to scan your face, in fact it's probably common knowledge by now that they do perform facial recognition at some airports. What may not be common knowledge is what the user experience for that sort of technology is like. This person's embarrassment was due merely to lack of familiarity with that sort of technology. I don't know how we avoided the design of using flatbed scanners for face scanning, but thankfully we did.

One badge to rule them all

found on Piximus

As if they were only interested in your pockets. A TSA screener in an airport seems to have (or at least seems to think they have) all the authority in the world to do and check whatever they like, and they definitely will not stop at just your pockets.

TSA Agents, What's The Funniest Thing You've Found In Someones Luggage?

Watch on YouTube

I guess this is just a text-to-speech engine reading out Reddit posts, but there are still some interesting stories in there.

No glove, no gate love

found on Memedroid

It must be those latex gloves that make it OK to touch people like that. It makes screeners part doctor (and the uniform makes them part cop)

Exposing all the things

posted by cosmokyle

TSA scanners can't actually do this sort of thing... yet. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the emotion detecting machines that they're trying to develop now are used against people in scenarios like this.

Reducing liquid volume in 3... 2...1...

found on Know Your Meme

If this were me I suspect I'd lose some of my liquid, but it probably wouldn't be enough.

Fly the over-friendly skies

found on Freeduh

The mistletoe isn't going too far. The mistletoe is just icing on the cake of horribleness that is the TSA's invasive practices. Those practices went too far all on their own, without the festive garnish.

This appears to be a more authoritative source for this comic, so if you want to see more from this artist, that's where you should go.

Airport 'Security'

from here and here (image source)

How low can the TSA sink? No one is going to mistake that for a real weapon, but somehow that doesn't matter to the TSA.

Keyless entry into the secured area

from here (image source)

I mean, if they'll confiscate a belt buckle shaped like a ray gun, or a coin-sized toy gun off of a sock monkey, they'll confiscate just about anything gun shaped. Better not make finger guns in their general vicinity.

As if they could catch a real bomb

found on Imgur

With their 95% failure rate, I suspect confiscating water bottles at TSA checkpoints does more to drive the sale of bottled water in the shops beyond the checkpoints than it does to stop terrorism. I wonder if anyone has looked for a money trail there.
