why haven't we heard this spin yet?

found on memebase

well, if you're still itching to see the best in obama, maybe this will help.

creepy uncle sam

from here

after the overly attached uncle sam video, i can't get the idea of the government as a creepy 'other' rather than one of us. as the gap between the highest authorities and the people they're supposed to serve continues to widen, i wonder what the outcome will be.

there, there. government will make it better

so, with the NSA around you're never truly alone? hmm, that gives me some ideas.

gee, are you a heavy breather, too?

creepy, creepy, mr. president. mrs. obama must be jealous with all the attention your lavishing on the rest of us.

no consolation in "they're doing it too"

gee, you think maybe there's some political commentary one could make about technology design choices? are our entertainment and technology companies treating us as much as adversaries as the government is?

mass spying makes you snuggly and secure

in all likelihood the embed won't work, but just in case here's snuggly the security bear talking about the government spying on it's citizens. go watch the original if it doesn't load here, it's really worth it.

[update: switched over to the youtube version which was recently uploaded so the embed should work now]

@goremy takes on spygate

personally, i don't think it's quite as catchy as the one about grandma being indefinitely detained, but it's still pretty good. thanks @goremy

that's not all he'd tap

well, i suppose it's time we graduated from just vilifying obama in memes and started looking at the other people involved (like general keith alexander, director of the NSA)

dark side of the presidency

if you're going to raise the spectre of 100 percent security, you better not be planning to use that as a motivator to justify your actions.

overly attached government

tweeted by @AmberBaldet

thanks to @AmberBaldet for bringing us another overly attached girlfriend take on the NSA spying controversy. considering the video earlier, i'm sure Laina would approve.
