once upon a time it used to be a big deal that encryption software was controlled as though it were a munition, much like the hoopla that's currently going on about the 3D printable plastic guns.
this isn't the only person to get the RSA encryption algorithm in 3 lines of perl code tattooed on his/her body in protest, but this is the only one i've found with an explanation of what it was as part of the tattoo.
