On Twitter, @munin is trying to figure out where the bullshit idea to block pasting passwords into password fields (thus making the use of password managers much more difficult) came from (so he can kill it with fire, one hopes). If you think you know the origin, drop him a line.

I have a little javascript bookmark that disables the paste-blocking, it's a stupid measure also for sites that ask to confirm email fields, if I don't get my email right I'll probably not get it right 2 times they're dumb requirements that make me hate the site and not want to do business with them.
